I took a stroll through the park today, it was so gorgeous outside! i took my jump rope and listened to worship music while doing lunges and stretches by the river. It was very nice and i was able to really just listen to myself and think about things.
Random: i realized that life is so frail and scary as you get older! what happened to those warm, wonderful summer breaks when you didn't have anything to study for... no obligations but to take a BREAK? with friends? with a car. freedom to buy that ice cream cone. call up a boy to come over and kill a spider without it looking like it was romantic. even getting mad at roommates for stupid roommate stuff.... it wasn't even half as complicated as it is now!
Random: and as much as one would like to leave things in the past, it's still there---deeply rooted and permanent. Who the heck thought of that phrase "what happened in the past, stays in the past"??? the same person who said "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" I suppose... haha. Turns out that it can come back to haunt you over & over again, maybe for the rest of your life.
Random: I keep getting these notices in the mail about animal cruelty. they're REALLY random and specific, like "
Save the donkeys" and "
Did you know that dogs and cats continue breathing and blinking for 5 minutes after they are skinned alive?" I donated to ASPCA and now I'm on some list!! But I will probably donate anyway =P
Random: I'm slightly considering working up the Crumbs Cupcake corporate ladder. I really like the company and what it stands for. Apparently, all the corporate people started out as regular associates like me! Something to think about...
